Im a huge sports fan and want to experience many different sports games. I was browsing Underdogs game collection and found Crush Deluxe game. A American football game mixed with sci-fi elements.

First thing I noticed about Crush was the level of options you have in the game, that you could play leagues and tournaments. But most importantly you could customize all the teams to what you like and coach them to victory. Create your own world league with only humans or a galaxy league with different races of aliens playing to win.

Graphics of the game are simple top down with a big arena for the teams to play in and the movement of the players is turn-based.

What i liked about Crush are the possibilities for different results. Every playable race has different strong and weak points. By creating a mixed race team youre searching for a way to keep your team winning the championship. Also giving a nice taste to matches is the ability to injure opposing players with no possibility to replace the injured player. Sure its cruel but the rule is same against the CPU too.

If you like managing and you like rough sports, its a game for you. If you like building teams from scratch and guiding them to victory, its a game for you. If you like... well sports and sci-fi together just get this game...

Back in 1996 i was visiting my towns local video game store that also rented games. I saw Broken Sword: The Shadow of The Templars on the shelf for short rental. I was interested and thought to give it a shot and ive never regretted that decision.

From the start of the game youre struck with great graphics and painting like scenery in many interesting places. When i opened the game in Paris, the feeling of wind blowing, traffic in background, i felt like i was in Paris really and the atmosphere was so good i also decided to visit Paris when i would become older.

The controls are really simple and easy to pick up and the puzzles actually make sense and dont seem forced.

But, of course, for an adventure game the most grasping thing is the story, more importantly for Broken Sword, the way of telling the story. The game has really deep characters with excellent voice acting, making you feel like youre the person chasing a murderer with researching and picking clues. Providing great support for the story is the historic angle of the Crusades and Templars, providing a nice history lesson about European history.

With the atmosphere, graphics and excellent story with beautiful voice acting this game rises to the top of adventure games and truly is and underdog not being noticed in mainstream gaming. Personally is the greatest game ive ever played cause it simply doesnt get old, a rare thing for an adventure game. Like a great movie, you keep coming back for the atmosphere and story.

Im Finnish and a huge ice hockey fan. Some of my favourite games ever are the NHL Eastside Hockey Manager games so for me managing games are close to heart and easy to get into. HLS2 is a excellent manager game which main strenght is league customation options and ability to make many own leagues.
On the down side the menus are really slow and, gotta say, good thing there is a fanmade editor that can be opened without opening HLS2 game. It makes customizing really faster and easier. Still making youre own league reguires great dedication and free-time.
