...or, more like, Mass Effect is the Krondor of our era ;)

No, really - this one`s a complete package. It`s unusual for a videogame to be so brave in combining different styles of gameplay and yet so polished and balanced, with all the elements clicking together. Sure, there are minor flaws- but none are game-breakers, more depending on personal taste.

What captivated me most (and it took some years from first reading about it to actually playing the game) was the freedom of movement. We`re talking 3D here, and remember it`s 1993!- rare thing in a RPG. Drakkhen springs to mind, but it was more painful to play.


Also I`m a sucker for good tactical/turn based combat - and again, Krondor delivers. Grid size is just right - not too small or too big and combat itself is very satisfying. Too bad if you don`t dig this style, because you`ll fight a lot :)

Unmissable - and very user friendly too, so no excuses! ;)
