From choosing and balancing, your cabinet, your generals, which chunks of the Constitution to void (not to mention the military decisions), through living with the consequences of those decisions; this game has the tension and re-playability that mark a great wargame.

Victory Games "The Civil War", and "No Greater Glory" rank in my top 3 American Civil War games. Yaquinto Games, "Pickett's Charge" rounding out that set.

V for Victory: Market Garden

This game plays very similarly to Victory Game's "Hell's Highway". Gives a good feel for this huge operation. For a DOS game, the graphics are exceptional. And, unlike many pre-Win7, windows based games, this one can still be played using DosBox.
