I remember AMFV being one of the first games that introduced me to the interactive fiction genre, partly because of the overall story concept, and partly because of the review I read here in HotU.

Although the game is pretty much consisted of exploring the land instead of solving puzzles, I have always thought IF had been the best means for the author to tell the story. I couldn't imagine how it would look like using a different medium - the story simply fit the mold it was cast into.

It cannot be reiterated more - those looking to experience interactive fiction at its best must play this game.
