Alien Arcade for Windows is a great PC conversion of a classic Macintosh game.The game is essentially a collection of six different non-violent arcade games from the depths of outer space for children ages 5 and up. The games are as cool as they sound: Stink Snakes, Andromedroids, Klutzes, Quasar Rain, Nerdoids and the Fungus Patrol. Although they are variant of popular arcade games such as Missile Command, each game contains enough unique twists that set them apart from those classics. While the game was not marketed as an edutainment title, kids will sharpen many basic skills such as pattern recognition?and of course hand-eye coordination ;) ? on their way to mastering the levels. Crisp graphics, funny cartoon animations, and just-right difficulty level makes this one of the best action games for kids that adults can enjoy. Highly recommended!
