A2 is a great sequel to AUTS, one of the best ?caveflyer? shooters from Finland.A2 improves upon the original in every aspect, including 16-bit graphics, improved enemy AI, built-in random level generator, a great level editor you can use to create your own levels, and plenty of new weapons and features.
Brief description of the basic gameplay from the official site: ?A2 is a fast action arcade splitscreen multiplayer game. Two to six players (up to four human controlled and up to six computer controlled vessels) can play in teams or on their own. The main idea is to fly in caves and kill all bogies. Weapons and other widgets in A2 range from normal pellet gun to photon torpedoes and time machines.? The game offers two new playing modes ? team play and deathmatch ? both of which add a level of strategic planning to the game. The game is shareware, but for only US$10 the registered version is more than worth the price. If you love caveflyers or multiplayer mayhem in general, you?ll be very happy with A2.
