Summary

Undoubtedly the DOOM of platform games, the only thing that's different between this underrated gem and that highly regarded classic is the Abuse's lack of first-person perspective.Despite a cliche plot (kill-all-aliens), everything else is spectacular: smooth animations, cool weapons and enemies, some thoughtful puzzles beyond flip-the-switch types, and the superbly *dark* atmosphere. It even includes a full-featured level editor/creator that allows you to set even custom AI of the monsters and how objects behave. A must-have!

This Game is in my opinion truly revolutionary. The Idea is great, walk around with the keyboard, and shoot with your mouse. If you are a fan of contra, or metal slug then this game is for you. It is obviously inspired by aliens vs predator (The main character is pretty much a predator fighting off aliens in a dark spaceship-like dungeon) altough the the story is different for copyright reasons. It is a challenging platformer full with enemies, puzzles and traps. The graphics are great, fluid and responsive controls, chilling sound and very replayable. Especially with the level editor and multiplayer. This game has influenced the genre for years after.

Abuse

Abuse is a nice little arcade type shooter that lets you save often. Saving often is a must due to the conservation of ammo and the rate of death when exploring new areas. I found Abuse to be enjoyable. It is a good game to play a few minutes here or there since you can usually get to the next save point with a descent amount of life fairly easily in most areas.

Good game...

Good game.

The music, not bad, but very repetitive when you are in the same level.
Good arsenal of weapons!!, the light-saber it's unbalanced about the ammo-cost, but the FlameThrower is destructive and the last weapon when firing the balls, they follows the cursor and it's too cool...
I've not tested the Network game, but seems that is ok for DeathMatchs.
The power-ups are very cool...

Editor thing, it's cool but with some bugs, make your patience low.

Well, the game is good, you have fun... but later you see that some levels are repetitive.
