Quite a few games have been made for the CNCS. I've googled them and there are quite a few. The manual would be nice if anyone has it please. CNCS is quite a nice program IF you know how to use it - I've found many things over time that I did not notice before as you have to watch the top window for commands while building IF. It's quite versatile and can handle A LOT. Check it out.
Well, if that's the case, you'll probably have more luck searching amongst IF enthusiasts than here. (This forum really doesn't seem to get much traffic.)
As for the HOTU older site, it is still there and MAY have the manual and "textprints" for Forbidden Quest.
Dude, it isn't still there. You see, Sarinee didn't really hand the reins off to anyone in particular, but the text of the old site was made available for people to do with as they pleased. Accordingly, numerous projects started up to replicate its old content, and some of them mimic the look and feel of it quite closely. I haven't looked in on them for a while, but last time I checked this site is the only one with a substantial number of downloads on hand.
And of course even before the site went kaput, there were a lot of knockoffs which copied all the content but would only pretend to provide downloads if you coughed up some money. (Some of these actually leached off the old HOTUD file server directly.)
By the way, Sarinee's blog is still available at fringer.org , but as you might reasonably expect, it's mostly in Thai and does not generally discuss abandonware or IF.
