Jimbo, it's the plastic case that the CD's are stored in.

Tales of Monkey Island chapter 1, Wiiware version.
Really achoppy framerate, and horribly compressed audio files. Still worth it. Pretty funny.

You had to resurrect this thread, didn't you?
My latest (in fact, my only) purchases were Heroes Of Might & Magic 3+4 in a budget re-release, the new Bard's Tale and the Gold Edition of Heroes Of Might & Magic 5. All brand new.

The new Bard's Tale is worth it just for the voice acting.

I've heard that "And Then There Were None" is not very good. I guess they made this one better?

I haven't played ATTWN myself. Judging by reviews I've read, MOtOE was a major improvement. Better story presentation, nicer looking character models. I rather liked MOtOE. Good atmosphere and nice re-adaptation of the story. Poirot is voiced by the same gentleman who portrayed him in the BBC Poirot TV series.

When I first heard about Virtual Springfield, it sounded like the best thing ever made.
Is it actually any good at all?

I haven't had the chance to delve into it too deeply yet. After a cursory glance, I'd say it's okay. Lots of wasted potential.

Most Recent:
The Movies Civ IV Culpa Innata Rise of Nations: Gold Edition
Civ IV has been occupying most of my time out of those. ;D
IV really feels like a full game too. III was good, but felt more like an expansion pack. Love the wonders that have been added to IV as well.

Re: Your latest game acquisitions! Pt. 1
- Monkey Island Special - still as good as I remember it! - Hammerfight - not my game, but very interesting design. - World of Goo - masterpiece.
I think also about Machinarium and Eador. First is masterpiece too, second is original siccessor of HoMM3 (Russian only, I think).
